Process

How a trade runs

  1. 01

    Register and verify

Create an account and verify your identity. The exchange deals only with verified people and companies.

  2. 02

    Request a quote

Pick a lot and tell the desk the quantity and destination you need. The seller sees a buyer code, not you.

  3. 03

    Inspection and assay

Grade and weight are confirmed by the inspection named on the lot.

  4. 04

    Contract

Price, Incoterms rule, delivery point and payment terms are fixed in writing.

  5. 05

    Checkout

The desk opens a trade at the agreed figures. You review it and pay on your desk.

  6. 06

    Settlement and delivery

The shipping documents follow the cargo, and the desk closes the trade on delivery.

Lot standard

What every lot has to state

A lot is not posted until these six things are on the sheet. It is how buyers compare offers on the same footing.

Grade and form

The assay figure and the physical form: dore, concentrate, lump or fines.

Quantity and minimum

The full lot size and the smallest parcel the seller will release.

Delivery rule

An Incoterms 2020 rule and a named place, so cost and risk have a clear handover.

Assay status

Whether the grade has been independently verified, and by what kind of inspection.

Origin

The state the material comes from, for traceability and customs.

Payment terms

How and when money moves: letter of credit, escrow or staged payment.
